With rougher testing, and more strict requirements, winning a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is an even more impressive feat than before. Now, their New Car Assessment program has awarded the Buick LaCrosse with a 5-star safety rating.

"This five-star overall vehicle score for safety shows Buick can equip an affordable luxury midsize sedan with top safety features."
