With rougher testing, and more strict requirements, winning a 5-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is an even more impressive feat than before. Now, their New Car Assessment program has awarded the Buick LaCrosse with a 5-star safety rating.

"Car buyers today want the peace of mind that comes with buying a vehicle they know will help protect their family," says Tony DiSalle, who is the vice president of Buick marketing.
