Buick sure knows how to start the holiday shopping season off right. No, we here at Roper Buick GMC aren't talking about a black Friday sales event or anything of the sort really. Rather, we're referring to the American automaker's choice to once again sponsor the Wired store in New York City.
Placed right in the center of Times Square, the store boasts an enormous 10,000 square-foot sales floor, which is reserved for all of the hottest gadgets of today. In fact, those who visit can take a look at mroe than 200 of the hottest tech toys in the world, and one in particular stands out more than the rest.
We're not talking about the latest smartphone or tablet, nor are we referring to a Bluray player or gaming console. In fact, the technological marvel that we're hinting at wouldn't even fit in your living room's entertainment center. That's right, we're talking about the most technologically-advanced luxury vehicle around, the 2012 Buick LaCrosse.
"Buick is an iconic brand that has embraced technology and truly understands today's modern consumer," says Jennifer Rapp, General Manager, Aurasma. "Together, we have created a tailored mobile experience that truly bridges the physical and virtual worlds. Buick and Aurasma give attendees an innovative way to shop the WIRED Store and learn more about Buick's eAssist technology."1
